And we begin with a really big week in the nation's capital.

On Thursday, a high school classmate of Supreme Court nominee

Brett Kavanaugh will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee. She

says she has information to share before they vote on whether to make him the next Supreme Court justice.

Her testimony is considered high stakes because what she says could make or break

Kavanaugh's chances to sit on the highest court in the land.

Blood is thicker than water, but apparently not thicker than politics.

Six brothers and sisters of Representative Paul Gossar of Arizona not only disagree with his views,

but they are actively trying to make sure he does not get reelected.

The siblings have already done two television ads in support of his

opponent. Gossar's response, you can't pick your family. We all have crazy

relatives. See you at mom and dad's house. You are welcome to come here, but don't even think about sitting down. That is the

message from the mayor of Venice Italy to anyone who might like to visit his

famous canaled city.

Tourists are already banned from sitting in certain areas like St. Mark Square and the steps of the

Rialto Bridge and they're not allowed to ride bikes or have a picnic either.

But now the mayor wants to extend his crackdown on touristy behavior

to other areas of the city.

The fine if you get tired and plop yourself down?

$500. A final vote on his plan is scheduled for next month.

A couple of sports headlines this morning. Golfer Tiger Woods is back. He won the Tour Championship yesterday, his first victory in more than five years.
