2019. And we begin with what could be the catch of the century. In Norway,

19 year old Oscar Lundahl nearly of the Nordic Sea Guide had been fishing for Halibut and waters 2,600 feet deep, five miles off the coast,

when he felt a powerful tug on his line.

He ended up coming face to face with a dinosaur-like creature sporting huge bulging eyes and a long narrow tail.

His colleague identified the species as a ratfish, a relative of the shark, dating back 300 million years. The unusual species did not ultimately

survive its long trip to the surface but not wanting to waste it. Lundal cooked it up.

He said it tasted a lot like cod, but better. We're getting word of a scientific

discovery that could rid the world of mushy fruits and vegetables. That's the promise of a new

product called appeal, which claims to slow down

decay and double or triple shelf life. The colorless, odorless plant-based solution is mixed

with water and then applied right to the produce.

The coating acts like a second skin and helps keep water in and oxygen, which is the main cause

of spoilage, out.

It's also invisible and tasteless. Kroger is rolling of Disparagus will make their debut later this fall.
