Hello and welcome to the Friday September 15th, 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast, Happy Friday everybody. My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking about Mercedes and Jaguar opening reservations

for EVs in Norway and the future of BMW's 3 series.

Another great day for Tesla stock yesterday finishing up 3.14

to $377.74,

compared to the Nasdaq down 0.48 percent. Supercharger network update we are still at

963 supercharging locations.

Our first store today is about Mercedes and Jaguar.

Both companies have opened up reservations in Norway for upcoming all electric vehicles.

For Mercedes, this is an all electric SUV, the ECQ.

And same story for Jaguar, a little bit smaller, but also an SUV,

the Jaguar I pace.

Both of these vehicles are supposed to begin production. also an SUV, the Jaguar I Pace.

Both of these vehicles are supposed to begin production at some point in 2018, but to me it's very

curious that they open up reservations specifically in Norway and only Quattro. They're all electric

SEV which is supposed to again begin production next year.

They opened a reservations in Norway and only Norway as well.

So the Audi took $2,500 deposits for the E-Tron, and Mercedes has taken $2,500 deposits for the

EQC. Of course, this is a Norwegian currency, but converted to US dollars, roughly 2,500. And the I pace has taken roughly $1,250 as a deposit.

The Audi apparently has 2,500 reservations so far.

The Mercedes EQC has about 1,000 and the Jaguar I-Pase has about 850 reservations

so far. So when we see this specific of a strategy employed by a company opening up reservations in Norway and only in Norway not offering them to any other countries.

And then on top of that when we see three different companies follow this exact same strategy,
