2019 and we begin with an accidental swimsuit wedgy stealing the headlines from a

high school meet in Alaska.

Senior Brecken Willis had just won the 100-yard freestyle, only to find out moments later

she had been disqualified because of her suit.

Although she was wearing the same standard-issue uniform given to all team members,

hers didn't fit quite right and rode up on her backside.

The official on hand determined that Breckin had violated the rules

on proper attire and voided her win. After some really negative publicity

though, her team appealed the decision and got it reversed.

The Alaska Schools Activity Association said,

Wedgies happen all the time in swimming,

and if the suit was the problem,

all the swimmer should have been punished.

Bottom line, Breckin gets two wins, one in the pool and one out.

Two high school football players from Tennessee are getting some much deserved attention for reaching out to a bullied

classmate. Michael Todd was tormented his first few weeks of school for wearing the same things

every day. Christopher Graham and Antoine Garrett saw the abuse and decided to do something about it.

They rummage through their closets, filled bags with shirts, shorts, and shoes.

Then during third period,

surprise Michael with a brand new wardrobe.

Michael said it was the first gift he'd ever gotten
