And as you know, King Charles is now the king.

Queen Elizabeth died, and upon her death, the ascension happens immediately.

And I want to compare this to how it works in the United States,

because I think it's kind of interesting, and I want to share that with you legally.

First of all, like a joint tenancy, which I've explained many times with the ownership of property,

the second one of the joint tenants dies, the other surviving joint tenant automatically becomes

the owner of the property.

It happens instantaneously.

Likewise, I know it's a weird comparison, joint tendency to the Crown of England, but

the concept is much the same.

The second a monarch, monarch dies.

At that moment, there is a new king and queen, whoever is next in line to the throne.

And, of course, they keep pretty close tabs on it.

You hear that all time.

Second in line, eighth in line, 14th in line.

His kids are born.

Now go to 15th in line.

So that happens instantaneously.

Now, how does that compare with the presidency of the United States when we have a new president?

There is no president until sworn in.
