Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Thursday, September 6, 2018, and we begin with more trouble for San Francisco's infamous tilting and sinking skyscraper. In the middle of the night, a window on the 36th floor of the Millennium Tower

spontaneously cracked.

Residents first heard some creaking, then a loud pop.

The windows are supposed to withstand a hurricane,

but they may not be able to withstand the 18-inch lean

at the top of the tower or the fact that the building has slid 17 inches into the ground below,

work crews sealed up the street under the window as a precaution.
