And we begin with Nike taking a bit of a beating for naming quarterback Colin Kernick the new face of its 30th anniversary

Just Do It campaign.

Shares in the company dropped more than 3% yesterday when a boycott Nike campaign went viral.

As you might remember, Kappernik made headlines for kneeling during the National Anthem

to bring attention to racial injustice. Shortly after the 49ers cut him and no other team has

hired him since. Kapernick is suing the NFL for what he says is a coordinated effort

to keep him off the field.

Nike is not only unfazed by the flap, it's fanning it.

The new ad campaign says, quote,

Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything, end quote.

While Nike takes some heat, Amazon is feeling the love.

The online retailer is now the second US company

to reach $1 trillion in market value.

Amazon hit the milestone yesterday

just one month after Apple.

For the most part, the threshold is symbolic,

but it does reflect how fast the company has grown.

24 years ago, it was a profitless bookseller. Now it's worth more than Target, Walmart, Nike,

Costco, and Home Depot combined.
