Hello and welcome to the Tuesday September 5th, 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking about Model 3,

Tesla Energy, and Nissan Leaf. The markets were closed yesterday, but as a reminder,

on Friday, Tesla closed at $355.40, down 0.14 percent, this compared to the NASDAQ up 0.10 percent.

Supercharger network update, we are still at 950 supercharger locations.

We don't have a ton of news out today so today's

episode will be a little bit shorter. However, the couple pieces of news that we do

have relate to model three. The model three base 18 inch arrow wheels have again been confirmed to be two pieces by a Tesla

employee driving the Model 3 across country for testing.

The Tesla Motor Sub-ritit has a couple of people on there that now had the chance to speak with one of these employees and these

employees have reiterated the fact that these arrow wheels are in fact wheel covers that are removable. So the exterior portion there is really just a

hub cap which you can remove to reveal a fairly standard looking alloy wheel of a dark gray color which would match the

arrow wheel cover as well. So this has long been speculated on. It's something that I

was about 95% certain before that these covers would be removable.

That 5% of me was still slightly skeptical that maybe they were just being removed for some

sort of testing purposes.

However, with these kind of new reports of new confirmation,

I would now say I'm 99.5% sure that they are.

It seems that we have pretty much all the confirmation that we need.

And that also makes me about 99.5% certain that I will go with these arrow wheels, the base arrow wheels, and save myself

$1,500 and not upgrade to the sport 19 inch wheels.

I should get a better, we should get better ride quality with the 18 wheels, better range, and obviously those arrow wheel covers which
