Skidmore, Missouri, is a town that some consider haunted by memories of terrible crimes.

For the residents though, Skidmore is a quiet little town tucked into the northwest corner

of the state, and while bad things may happen, it's no different than any other small town

in America.

For one family though, they may not share that feeling.

Branson Perry was a driven, smart, and kind young man who had lived in Skidmore for most

of his life.

After his parents divorced, he moved in with his father, Bob, who was suffering from several

health issues.

In April of 2001, Bob was hospitalized and Branson invited some friends over to help get

things squared away at the house so that when Bob was released, everything would look

good.

Unfortunately, that same day, Branson would mysteriously vanish.

Investigators found themselves six days behind a missing person's case in which almost

nothing made sense.

Throughout their investigation, they would examine the local drug scene, the behaviors

of a convicted felon, and even the activities of those who Branson may have known and trusted.

Both of Branson's parents have since passed away, going to their graves without knowing

the truth of what became of their son.

And to this day, the disappearance of Branson Perry remains one of the most frustrating and

difficult unsolved cases in the state of Missouri.
