Summary

I’m excited and honored to bring you this roundtable discussion. I brought together some of the most notable and leading voices in the Financial Independence and personal finance space to discuss the wealth gap, privilege and the unique factors that people of color face in reaching Financial Freedom.

The roundtable includes; Naseema from Financially Intentional, Carmen Perez from Make Real Cents, Timika from the House of FI Podcast & Julien and Kiersten from Rich & Regular.

We discuss:

  • Lack of diversity in the messaging and why our stories need to be told
  • Our thoughts on overall privilege and our own individual privileges
  • Actionable steps people of color need to take to get ahead
  • Getting the cheat code by investing in yourself and education plus so much more
