Before we get started with today's episode, I have some really, really exciting news for all of you.

As I think you know, when I started my podcast a year and a half ago, I had no background in marketing

or business, no social media following or popular blog. I was, quote, just a mom with a nagging idea

for a podcast. The idea of starting a podcast felt way too big for me, but after over a year of

thinking about it, I finally decided to just do it. And I couldn't have done it without the

help of my dear friend Monica Packer, the host of the show about progress. Monica had been hosting a

show for about a year at that time and she walked me through the technology, the processes, the

ups and downs of launching. And in the 20 months since, she's become my number one podcasting

colleague and confidant as we build our shows side by side. We talk almost daily about our questions

and epiphanies with podcasting. We brainstorm and troubleshoot together and we've helped each other

grow our shows to the point that we have almost two million downloads between us. Monica and I now

want to invite you to join us in this amazing world of podcasting. The past few months, we've been

working super hard behind the scenes on a joint project that we hope will bless hundreds of women

who want to share their voice with the world. Together Monica and I are starting podcast

university in online school for all things podcasting and it goes live today Monday, June 10th,

the day of this recording. Our first course podcasting 101 how to start your podcast is open for

enrollment now through the end of June and in the fall we'll release podcasting 201 how to grow your

podcast as well as small group coaching and even one-on-one mentoring. If you've been wanting to
