0:36.0	I mean, I'm talking about the kind of news that makes it feel like literally time just stops around you.

0:41.8	is think about what's going on in that moment. Nothing else matters. I remember receiving news like
0:48.4	this when my stepmom, Julie, was diagnosed with acute lymphoma leukemia when I was 17.
0:53.9	And we were basically told she only had
0:56.3	about a week to live. And I mean, this was a diagnosis given to a healthy 40-year-old woman.
1:02.2	She'd never smoked a day in her life. She ate healthy. She was fit. Pretty much someone that you
1:07.9	would never expect to get dealt this deck of cards a week to live and i
1:13.3	remember so vividly that when that news was shared with me all i could do was just burst into tears
1:18.9	i mean literally in the blink of an eye her world our family's world all the people that knew and
1:25.3	loved her dearly was turned upside down and sadly she passed five days
1:31.7	later and it was a harsh reminder that life can shift on a dime at any moment i mean literally your
1:40.3	ticket can be called at any time.
1:49.6	And it really made me think about what's really important in life.
1:56.6	It made me think about, you know, the importance of just living life every day to the fullest and not wasting any time and energy on the shit that doesn't matter.
2:01.5	And usually it's the stuff that we do spend the most time and energy focusing on.
