calling it the Catholic Apocalypse. We're going to go through the entire book of revelation as you, the listeners, have requested.

So let's get started. Welcome back to the Catholic Apocalypse. I'm Taylor Marshall and we're going to

continue our study. This is part five so if you're just now tuning in you can

listen this one or you can go back to the first segment and catch up today we're

going to look at the seven trumpets that are signaled after the seven seals and this is a first part of a two part on

the seven trumpets. Well the seven seals have given way to the seven trumpets.

And just as we saw in the previous episode,

the seven seals are broken into basically two parts.

There's a sixth seal and then there's this time

interlude and then it goes into the seventh seal and that opens up more things. We're

going to see the exact same pattern here with the seven

angels and the seven trumpets. We're going to see the first six angels and the

first six trumpets with an interlude and then the sounding of the seventh trumpet.

So what we see both times is the six and then a pause and then the seventh and this is mirroring

very much the Old Testament sabbatical pattern, the Sabbath, where we have six days and then the seventh and the seventh is set apart.

We see the exact same thing happening in the apocalypse in the book of

revelation. So we're going to begin here in chapter 8 today. This is where we see

the seventh seal opened and we see these seven angels blowing

their seven trumpets and if you know the Old Testament you've've read the Old Testament, I hope you have, you'll know right away that these blowing of the trumpets are going back to the book of Joshua.
