This is going to be a really great episode because we're looking at the Four Horseman,

everybody's heard about the the four horsemen and the seven seals and the last

episode we saw that the Lamb of God is worthy to open the book and it looks like

all hell breaks loose. In fact we see all heaven breaks loose.

So we're going to start today where we left off last time and that's at the beginning of chapter six in the book of

revelation just a bit of review and five we looked at the Lamb of God and he is worthy to open the book, open the scroll.

And in some translations it talks about a book with seven seals on it but at this time

period the Codex and and by codex I mean a book with a spine on it so all

the pages are cut into rectangles and they're glued or sewn on one edge and you can turn the pages.

That was introduced some debate but probably maybe towards the end of the first century some people even think

that Christians invented the Codex because they needed a way to put their

scriptures together of course the Christian canon was becoming bigger than the Jewish

canon and they needed a way to flip around throughout the prophets and prove that

Jesus Christ was the Messiah of ancient Israel.

So they developed this new way of carrying and reading scripts.

That's just a theory. We're not we don't know for sure but for certain the

book that's talked about in five is a scroll. It's rolled up a sheet of paper. It's written inside and out just like the
