Good morning the loss of a real-a-one who's

I'm Tori today is Monday August 31st 2020 and we begin

with the world mourning the loss of a real life superhero

Chadwick Bozeman who played to Chala in Black Panther, passed away following an illness

that he battled in private for the past few years.

Mr. Bozeman starred as the African King, the leader of Wakanda in the 2018 blockbuster.

But the Marvel movie shattered more than box office records.

It shattered stereotypes with its mostly black cast and black superhero and fundraisers were even held to make sure

disadvantaged kids could see it. Mr Bozeman called his role the honor of his career.

All the while, fans and many of those closest to him were

unaware that his off-screen bravery trumped his on-screen heroics. All his

Avenger movies were filmed while he was sick and when he wasn't working he made rounds to cheer up hospitalized children

Never letting on that he too was in pain. Mr Bozeman Friday, a day wrapped in significance and symbolism. It was Jackie

Robinson Day, which celebrates the player who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball,

and the man Bozeman portrayed in the movie 42.

It was also the anniversary of the famed March on Washington for civil rights.

Chadwick Bozeman may have been a movie man, but the music industry also took time out to remember him.

Last night, MTV called him a true inspiration,

and dedicated to him, it's star-studded mostly remote video music award ceremony.

When all was said and done, the biggest award of the night,

video of the year, went to the weekend for blinding lights.
