Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Tuesday, August 27th,

2019 and we begin with happiness having no expiration. At least that's the case

for Tamia Richardson who recently found a free admission

ticket for Disneyland that she'd won back in 1985 when she was 14 years old.

When she arrived at Disneyland last week with her two teenage

daughter she had no idea if she'd still be allowed to use the pass. Even though it

had no expiration date, the cost of a one-day pass back then was $16.50. Today it's $149. But after a brief discussion among employees at the ticket counter,

the teacher from Alberta, Canada was waved inside.

And she even got an upgraded ticket that included the Disney California adventure.

Park officials are quick to point out though that not every old ticket to the House of Mouse will be accepted.

It has to be legit with no expiration date.

In sports news, there's a new Little League World series champion. The team from River Ridge

Louisiana shut out the players from the Caribbean island of Curasau 8 to 0 to win

the bayous state's first ever Little League World Champion title.

And it wasn't an easy feat.

The team from Suburban New Orleans lost their opening game in the tournament to Hawaii,

so they had to fight their way through the losers bracket and win six games in eight days.

One other note of interest, Home played umpire Kelly Elliot Dine was just the second woman

to call balls and strikes for a little league title game in the tournament's 73 year history.

A NASA astronaut is the first person ever to be accused of committing a crime while in space.

Anne McClain is a decorated astronaut who was recently on a six-month mission
