And we begin with a budget-friendly way to beat this weekend's heat while marveling in

the magic of movies. This Sunday marks the second annual National Cinema Day. To celebrate

tickets at over 3,000 theaters across the country will cost moviegoers just $4 a pop.

Whether you're seeing Barbie for the first time or the fifth, it's a prime opportunity

to catch up on summer movies or check out this weekend's new releases. Some movie

chains like AMC are offering bargain popcorn deals as well. This one day event was created

by the nonprofit Cinema Foundation to celebrate the magic of the movies on the big screen.

If all went according to plan, NASA's latest manned mission to the International Space

Station is successfully on its way. Dubned SpaceX Crew 7, the crew is made up of four astronauts

representing four different space agencies, the US, Japan, Europe, and Russia. Forecasters

predicted a 90% chance of good weather for a 350 AM liftoff from Florida's Kennedy Space

Center. But the launch was only going to get the green light if a Russian cargo ship made

it to the space station first. It was due to dock last night just before midnight.

Call it one last gasp for summer travel. Travel experts are already sounding the alarm ahead

of the upcoming Labor Day weekend, advising travelers to brace for busy roads and even busier
