begin this morning with another record on Wall Street. When the market closed yesterday. It marked the longest bull run or

steady climb by stocks in history. It's been 3,453 days or about 9.5 years of slow but steady gains.

There were some dips but none that saw stocks drop enough to turn the bull into a bear.

Now this doesn't have a huge impact on most of our lives, but it does mean in general our economy

is doing well, companies are making a lot of money, and it's easier to find a job. Hawaii dodged Hector a few weeks ago, but now a new very large storm is barreling toward

Paradise.

Hurricane Lane, strengthened to a category 5, which is the most powerful kind of hurricane,

and is now headed directly toward the islands. But the Weather Service has issued a warning

for Hawaii's Big Island, and other islands could also be at risk for

strong winds up to 155 miles an hour plus excessive rain, large waves and flash

flooding. Schools are closed for the rest of the week and

residents are stocking up on essential items. There's a lot of legal drama this

morning surrounding men who used to work for President Trump.

First, his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was found guilty on eight counts of bank and tax fraud.

And at almost the same time time Mr. Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to eight crimes and he also made a statement that seemed to indicate the president may have broken some campaign

laws.

What does this mean for the president himself?

That's unclear at this point, but many agree this could lead to some legal problems for the current resident of the White House.
