But that did happen earlier this year at Winter Park Resort in Colorado.

Worse, the rescue consisted of being instructed how to self-repel to safety.

Does that qualify as a rescue?

Either day, that's what happened.

174 people repelled themselves to safety. No thank you. Meanwhile, in Dallas, a woman was trapped alone in an elevator for two hours. Now, eventually she was rescued by being pulled through the top

of the elevator car and then put into a working elevator. And neither of these scenarios is ideal. But given the choice, I'm taking the elevator over the chairlift. Sure, you get a better view on the chairlift. I understand that. You're not alone. There's people talking to you. But I go back to the fact that it is cold. And I am not claustrophobic.
