well I wanted to move on today to the next verse in collars chapter 3 we've

been going through the chapter just verse by verse and we're in a section where Paul is instructing us

that we are to let certain things be true of us and in our lives. Okay and it's really a mindset issue. We need to allow these things to percolate in our thinking

and to become reality in our lives because we're in a habit from before we trusted in Christ of living out of our own

smarts, our own bad habits, our own wrong beliefs about ourselves, our God in the world.

And he's saying, we need to let some new things become true of us,

because they are things God says are true of us, but it takes us a while to embrace them and to get our minds

saturated with the reality of what they are.

And so we're in verse 16 and Paul says let the word of Christ

dwell in you richly teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing Psalms and

spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Now everything he

said in that verse flows out of his first encouragement and that is to let

the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you. What does that mean? Does that mean the Bible?
