education a couple years ago, more than that actually, when I was still doing weekly live videos,

often with special guests, to talk about the softer side of retirement. Because as all

of you who are in the group know, the group is heavily focused. And my focus has historically been

on the financial aspects, tax things, investment things, social security things, pension

things, Medicare things, all of which are

tremendously important. But as important, if not more important in many cases, is the softer

side, the non-financial things, the like where are you going to live, who are your friends going to be,

what are you going to do to fill your days? What's going to be your new identity? Because

oftentimes your identity is tied up in your job for better or worse. And when your job goes, often your identity goes with it, unfortunately. So retirement could be very difficult

if you don't have a plan for the non-financial stuff. Most people have some sort of plan for

the financial stuff. But the non-financial is an afterthought if they even think about it at all.
