a discussion. And she shared some numbers with me and immediately my reaction was, whoa, whoa, whoa,

up, say that again? And she said, well, in our first year, we did $1,416. And this year, we are just shy of

It's amazing when you take a step back and you look at the progress that you have made in your business.

This was actually not a discussion about my business or my wife's business.

This was a discussion about our charity. And in the very first year that our charity, our nonprofit, which is called Village Impact, back then it was called

World Teacher Aid. We've since changed the name and now it's called Village Impact. But in year one,

when we ran this organization, our first year we raised $1,416. And a whopping $1,416. And oftentimes, like, you can

give up after that, right? It's because it feels so daunting. It's like, you know, especially even a
