Rick Horan has been making the rounds this last summer.

He appeared in Anaheim at the Southern Baptist Conventions General Assembly.

He took a floor mic and gave a rather long speech for a floor mic speech,

wherein he mostly boasted about his numbers.

He's very, very fond of his track record and his numbers at Saddleback Church,

but he basically told the assembled messengers at the Southern Baptist Convention that

they shouldn't be kicking his church out of the Southern Baptist Convention because, well,

the ordination of women, which was what they were being called on the carpet for,

is no big deal.

It's a secondary thing.

And after all, the Great Commission, which is kind of Rick's go-to excuse.
