It began long ago, two young boys in an American town riding their bikes to school and Little League practice.

Over the years, the boys became fast friends, united in their love for stories where things would go horribly wrong.

Schnebley and Toff. So, J.G., this is a momentous occasion in the history of the Box of Oddity's

franchise, because this is the first shallow end episode that we've recorded since the launch of

the third podcast under the Box of Audities

Umbrella, which is, of course, from beneath the Hollywood side.

Five new episodes just dropped.

And if you like the stories of classic Hollywood, Tinsletown and the Golden Age, and some of the stranger things that have

happened there over the years, this is the podcast for you. To talk about some of the more

obscure stuff, there's an entire episode, episode number four, which is called The Murders,

Mayhem and Mischief of Beachwood Canyon, which is the area where co-host Steve Kubein actually lives literally beneath the Hollywood sign.

But just that canyon, that stretch of street, Beechwood, has had so much kind of dark Hollywood history, you know, a suicide, some murders during Prohibition,

a speakeasy, I mean, just all kinds of stuff, all concentrated on this one street,

this one area of Hollywood. But to JG's point, there are five episodes that have

already dropped. That's just episode four. So there's a lot to go over and you've got a whole

week to listen to all five. And not to be a not to be selfish about it, but if you could not

only listen and subscribe, but tell your family and friends and help grow this podcast, that would really be cool.
