The biggest misconception about meditation is that you are supposed to sit down and be thoughtless and so many people who come to me to learn because I teach it and say, oh I tried it and I can't do it. You're doing it. The thing is, in the beginning you're gonna have a lot of thoughts. You just have to learn how to handle them, which is to ignore them and get in the habit of ignoring them. Then as these thoughts come out, your thoughts will become less. Learning a real form of meditation; that's the base of everything I think.
