0:48.7	sales of new zero emission vehicles increasing by 10% year-on-year last month in August.
0:54.7	But what challenges lie ahead for the industry? Well, according to the Society of Motor,
0:59.7	manufacturers and traders, SMMT, the increased demand for EVs came as demand for petrol and diesel
1:05.3	slipped. Petrol down 10.1%, diesel down 7.3% again, again, again.
1:12.1	This shift resulted in EVs now being 22.6% of the new car market last month that is surpassing the 22% target set through the zero emission vehicle mandate.
