And we begin this morning with Facebook in a free fall, at least on Wall Street.

Its stock plummeted nearly 19% at the markets closed yesterday afternoon,

losing about a hundred billion dollars in value.

That's the biggest one-day wipeout of stock market value for any U.S. company ever.

The reason for the sell-off?

The company announced that it expected growth to slow through the rest of the year, and

that news prompted investors to sell their shares in the company.

Today, maybe they'll see a bargain and buy back some of what was sold.
