Good morning and welcome to Kid News.

We're on our summer break, but that doesn't mean we can't keep those news neurons firing

with a few of our favorite critical thinking questions.

Every day we'll bring you a Kid News classic from the past year or so, followed by a

newdler challenge to see if you can make the story your own.

In November, the principal of a small boarding school in Massachusetts banned smartphones

on campus.

The head of the Bucston school thought his students had lost something important during

the pandemic, the basics of face-to-face interaction.

So when they returned, he took away their cutting-edge devices and replaced them with light phones

that can make calls and send clunky texts, but have no internet, camera, or apps.

Do you think this rule is a benefit to the school community?
