Good morning and welcome to Kidnews Summer Style.

Through July, we're bringing you a Kidnews Classic Story, followed by a Newdler Challenge.

Disneyland and Disney World spent the year catching up with the Times.

First, for the first time in its 67-year history, the park added characters in wheelchairs

to unattraction.

The two animatronic dolls can be found inside the, it's a small world ride.

And Splash Mountain is no more.

It was torn down at both resorts because it was based on the 1946 Disney movie, Song

of the South, that many people believe is racist.

Design your own amusement park ride that could replace Splash Mountain.

Choose a theme for the ride and draw a map that shows its features.

Or, think of other characters that Disney could include that would better reflect some

of its visitors.
