Summary

Straight from Norlander's hotel room, it's another face-to-face episode of the pod. Parrish and Norlander open with some unanticipated thoughts on things tangentially related to the Nike Peach Jam -- including a fun blind item about a coach -- then get into why coaches are still not satisfied with the current recruiting calendar (16:00) and what won't be done about it. From there, Norlander gets into the story of 15-year-old Emoni Bates (39:00), who is regarded by many as the most talented player in high school, regardless of age, and yet only has scholarship offers from Michigan State and Florida State. Will he ever play in college? Turns out, it's completely plausible. The guys close on NC State receiving its Notice of Allegations (58:00) earlier in the week, and discuss which school should be next and what punishment the NCAA could fairly dole out.

Yeah. How are you recovering from your nice meal?

0:42.8

Frog Hollow last night. I'm recovering nice. The Mac and cheese appetizer was good.

Yeah, that's a good little spot there in Augusta. That's our favorite. If we're

nice meal in Augusta, Georgia is Frog Hollow. It is. That is a legit place there.

Very much enjoyed that now face to face again. It's nice to be here. We removed from the

from the post draft podcast. Let the record show I walk to your hotel this morning.

1:09.4

You didn't walk to mine. Let the record show I brought the podcast equipment. Got the microphones

this time in Augusta. So we're going to do this. Yes, thank you for all the work.

It's a hard walk because in some places when you walk outside, it looks very normal. Like

1:22.5

if you're just walking around downtown of basically any major city, it looks normal.

1:27.7

There's other people walking around. The walk from my hotel to your hotel doesn't look normal.

1:33.9

It looks like your car broke down and you're walking and you're walking down this road that

nobody else is walking down. And because we're in like a cluster of hotels, I can just

always because I've made this walk twice now. Now, once just to get something to eat,
