It's Wednesday, July 10th, and today's Noodler Challenge takes us to the world of sports.

A recent survey shows that America has a new favorite pastime,

football.

The Pew Research Center asked 12,000 people if you had to choose one

sport as being America's sport even if you don't personally follow it, which

sport would it be? More than half of respondents chose football, which took the top spot across every demographic, including race, age, and gender.

The next most popular response was baseball, picked by 27% of people asked, while less than 10% chose

basketball, soccer, car racing, or hockey respectively. Would you agree or disagree with those findings?

Think of another poll question that you would like to ask friends and family about

your hometown, state, or country.

For instance, the animal, flower, or food they consider the most representative.

Design a survey and give it to as many people as possible.

Be sure to try to get responses from different ages, races, and genders.

Finally, describe what you learned from your survey.
