Coming up, the Defence Secretary says the UK has supported the United States in its seizure of a Russian-flagged oil tanker.

This is a sanctioned, stateless vessel, which carries a long history of nefarious activity.

Also, the Prime Minister says MPs will get a say before British troops are sent to Ukraine.

Were troops to be deployed under the declaration signed,

I would put that matter to the House for a vote.

But Kemi Badernock accuses him of disrespect to MPs.

No Prime Minister, Labour or Conservative,

has failed to make a statement to the House in person

after committing to the deployment of British troops.

And as a minister announces millions more for hospices in England, he's told help for the

sector is sorely needed.

And I hear what you're saying about we're world-leading, but Christ, I mean, if we're world-leading,

I worry for the rest of the world.

But first, the Defence Secretary John Healy came to the Commons this evening

to update MPs on the UK's role in the seizure by the United States

of a Russian flag tanker in the North Atlantic.

He told MPs that the US had intercepted the falsely flagged Bella 1

with the support of the UK as part of global efforts to crack down on sanctions busting.
