July 1st, 2020 and we begin with a powerful group of doctors calling on

schools to do what they must to get kids back in class.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has now issued a statement strongly in favor of

in-person learning, saying it is critical to development and overall well-being.

Dr. Anthony Fauchy agrees to a point.

He testified before a Senate committee yesterday that how and when the bell is rung will likely be a

district by district decision based on local infection rates and encouraged

educators to get creative and be flexible with their back to school plans.

The result is limbo for millions of families.

While the back-to-school debate rages, the coronavirus here and now is disturbing. Cases are skyrocketing and experts say the US could
