And we begin with a US president going where no president has gone before.

Early yesterday morning in a made for cameras moment, Mr.

Trump crossed 20 feet into North Korea to shake the hand of dictator Kim Jong-un.

The encounter took place at the demilitarized zone, better known as the DMZ.

It's the most heavily fortified border in the world, a no man's land that has divided the Korean

peninsula and its two very different governments since the end of World War II.

The historic handshake on North Korean soil was a gesture of goodwill and marks the resumption

of Stahl Talks to bring peace to the region.

The European heat wave we told you about last week, arrived on cue and did not disappoint.

Over the weekend, France hit its highest recorded temperature ever when the mercury hit 114.6 degrees in the

southern town called Gallea Le Monteu.

Heat records also fell in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

It was unusually hot in London too, but not just because of the weather.

The city played host to Europe's first ever Major League Baseball games.

And to get the biggest crowds, they use the age-old rivalry between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.

The games were played at London Stadium, which is not nearly as deep as a regular stadium.

Proof is in the football-like scores.

The Yankees won Saturday's game, 17 to 13.

12 of the 30 runs were scored in the first inning.

The Slugfest continued in Sunday's game 2 with the Yankees again topping Boston 12 to 8.
