Welcome to The Millionaire Mindcast, the show where I, your host, Maddie,

explore all things, mindset, money, and motivation to help you increase your income, impact,

and influence.

So getting back in the saddle after the wedding, being on such a high high, I mean, the wedding was absolutely unreal.

And I came back into work, ready to tackle the week.

And literally day after day after day this week, it's been one thing after another.

I've taken a few shots to the gut,

taken a few right hooks to the chin. And so I was feeling a little beat up, having some

struggles, some obstacles this week. And being that I am a quote junkie, I went back through

some of my favorite quote lists. And I came across one by Napoleon Hill that

really spoke to me. Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.

And while it's definitely been one of those weeks for me, when I reread this quote today,

it reminded me of the little boy who found the butterfly cocoon.

A little boy and his dad were playing in the park one afternoon when the boy, he came across a butterfly

cocoon, and the little boy got all excited and he said, Daddy, Daddy, can we bring it home with us?

So, of course, being a good dad, he replied, sure, buddy.

So he brought it home, he created this cool little habitat, and one day, the boy noticed

a small little opening that appeared in the cocoon.

So obviously the dad knew what was going on, but the little boy, he had no clue.
