His first season, he was named Rookie of the Year, second won 25 games games earning the Triple Crown, one of the most

prestigious awards in baseball, the Saw Young Award.

with his teammates, he watched them on TV because he was wasted. He was blurry-eyed drunk high for the next 25 years, Dwight Doc Gooden battled alcoholism and addiction.
