And this week we've got Dave Ellison with us from the awesome Megadeth, who I was a ridiculously huge fan of when I was a kid.

I had all their albums. In fact, I think I've still got all their albums, which is why it's really exciting for me to have Dave on the FPL podcast this week.

Nick's going to be conducting the interview as usual, and they're going to go right back into, you know, into the beginning of Megadeth when Dave moved to L.A. and met Dave Mastain.

Obviously, Dave Mastain had just been playing with Metallica as well,

which had Cliff Burton playing bass with them at that time. So they're going to talk about,

you know, the expectation that came with being the new guy on the scene after Cliff and how they

set about going about creating the Megadeth sound. And Dave's also going to tell us about

how to create a great thrash metal

bass line. They're going to talk about his gear and his association with Jackson and his

signature Jackson Kelly Bird as well. So they're going to get stuck into all of that. They're going

to talk about the new, well, the tour that they've been on, their latest album, the full nine yards. But before we get into it,
