And we begin with two nights of high political drama.

This evening, 10 of the two dozen Democrats running for the presidential nomination

will debate in front of a national audience. The biggest names in this first showdown are

Senator Elizabeth Warren and Texas politician Beto O'Rourke.

But the real fireworks are expected tomorrow when former Vice President Joe Biden and

Senator Bernie Sanders headlined the second set of candidates.

The debates give White House hopefuls a chance to define themselves and each other for the

American public.

Not everyone qualified to take the stage. The candidates had to receive at least 1% support in three different polls

or receive contributions from 65,000 unique donors, including 200 from 20 different states.

It's a scorcher in Europe.
