Governor Gavin Newsom, the governor who governs the state that I happen to live in, California.

And as everybody knows, California is probably the most liberal state in the country.

I would say that's fair, by a long shot, actually.

And so when we talk about gun control, the issue of gun control breaks down across, literally across political lines.

I've never understood that.

How can you not be, or how can you be

a liberal, let's say, and believe in abortion rights, and really believe in First Amendment,

and believe in separation of church and state, and still be in favor of guns? Have you ever known

anybody to do that I

haven't how can you be a conservative that believes in guns that believes in

guns believes the second amendment rights and goes right down the list and or

let's go the other way a conservative that goes in lockstep with all the

conservative values and is in favor of

gun control i've never met one so without and said without being said governor gabin newsom of course

is in favor of gun control and it is under the current court impossible to pass gun control legislation

impossible in 1994 it federally you could not buy impossible to pass gun control legislation impossible.

You know, in 1994, federally you could not buy an assault weapon.

But it was a 10-year sunset bill, which in 2004 went away.

And then it was free reign, go ahead and buy your assault weapons.

And I think 30 million of them were sold something like that since the law was rescinded can you imagine today no assault

weapons in Congress being passed can you ever imagine that today you cannot so
