And we begin with the nation pausing to remember the man and event that brought racial struggles in the United States back to the

forefront. Today in Houston Texas thousands of people will gather for a

public memorial to George Floyd. Organizers say theirs is a daunting task.

The family wants a grand experience,

but social distancing rules need to be enforced for everyone's safety.

And security will be tight as politicians from all over the

country are expected to attend along with members of the Houston Texans football team

and boxer Floyd Mayweather who's offered to cover many of the expenses.

Protesting racial injustice is important and often messy.

Fortunately the city of Buffalo, New York has teenager Antonio Gwyn Jr.

When the 18-year-old saw the damage left in the wake of a recent demonstration, he grabbed

a broom and some trash bags and set about cleaning Bailey Avenue all by himself.

He started at 2 a.m. and didn't stop until noon, which was right about when a group of neighbors arrived,

only to find their work had been done.

Word spread, and the community responded.

One local man gave Antonio a red Mustang.

Another paid his car insurance, Madale College offered him a full scholarship.

The teen's original plan was to go to trade school and save up for a four-year university.

Now he's headed there straight away to major in

business and minor in, he says, paying it forward. It's official. According to
