Actually, maybe you don't know the drill. Maybe you're a new listener. And for those of you who are new to the show, I am David Scales. I am the host of

Surf Splendor. And we basically do alternating formats. One week, we do Surf News. That happens

to be this week. Next week, we will bring you a profile episode. And so you get two episodes of

formats from week to week. Last week's episode was with John Van Hammersveld, which is a name that

I feel like from talking to people, they recognize the name, but don't necessarily know how they

know him. And he's basically an artist. And where you know him from

is the iconic endless summer poster, the original, the Dayglow poster with the silhou

poster with the silhoues of the surfers with their long boards. John Van Hammersfeld designed that

poster and went on to have a really successful career

as an artist and graphic designer, working with the likes of the Beatles, Steve Jobs, a huge

client list of mainstream and surf industry people. And so I did an interview with him last week. If you didn't listen to
