Summary

My guest today is the inspirational Jo Mitchellhill, a coach who works with individuals and families that have experienced childhood trauma.

Trauma from our childhood can stay with us as adults, stopping us from getting where we want to be in life. Today Jo shares some of the strategies she uses with her clients that allow them to begin healing from those experiences and helps them to feel heard, seen and connected.

What You'll Learn In This Episode:

- How Jo has combined her 20 years of teaching experience, training as a foster parent and her passion for horses to create her trauma coaching services with a focus on finding a calm space and building relationships.

- Why Jo has always gravitated toward people who feel unseen and unheard and why she passionately believes in advocating for others.

- If childhood trauma is stopping you from getting to where you want to be in life and business, Jo explains some of the first steps to take towards facing it and starting the healing process.

- Trauma is a feeling of disconnection so today we look at the role community can play in feeling connected to others and overcoming past trauma.
