Hi everybody I'm I'm Audrey Moore with Audrey Helps Actors and this is episode

number 55 feeling alive no matter how your pilot season is going listen just want

you guys to know this is we're coming up on March. March is a

notoriously heavy month for actors. Everyone is freaked out about how their

pilot season did or did not go. Just remember, pilots are down to 55 this year. That is

almost half the number it was, even just I think three years ago. But the truth is, is that's just the way that

the business is shaped, but there's actually so many more opportunities as a whole.

Things are going straight to series. There are lots of pickup orders, guaranteed to give people a full show order for a first season.

So just this sort of idea of like we do this like pilot thing

and then they test it out and then they see and then maybe they go that's just not really something that most

networks are participating in anymore so though there's still a lot of residual

energy around that experience.

Just know that that's really not indicative of what we're doing.

We have a really robust, booming, creative business happening,

and it's happening all year.

And pilot season is not really the thing that it used to be so don't be

disheartened you know try to avoid compare and despair try to avoid FOMO

there's plenty happening all year. It's a really exciting time to be in this business.
