Hello everybody, welcome back to Daily Easy English expression.

Today's expression is three words, but they all mean the same thing.

The first word, sheep, S-H-E-E-P. The second word, sheep sheep, S-H-E-E-P.

The second word, sheeple, S-H-E-E-P-L-E, and the last word, lemming, L-E-M-M-I-N-G.

And these words mean the same thing.

Sheepel or sheep or lemmings are people who don't use their intelligence. They just follow everybody else.

So for example, on Monday night, if everybody is going to watch a certain show on television,

you also watch the show because everybody else watches the show. If somebody, if some movie star buys a t-shirt with a strange color, and then everybody else starts buying the same shirt, you also buy the same shirt because everybody else is buying the same shirt.

You're a lemming. You're a sheep. You're one of the sheep. You are sheeple.

Is it good to be part of the sheeple? Do you want to be a sheep? Do you want to be a lemming?

I hope not. No, we don't. We want to be individuals. We want to have our own opinion,

our own style. We want to make our own culture. I think that's a good thing. Being an individual

that's pretty good. Look at me. Do you see other English teachers like me on YouTube?

No way. Nobody is like me. I'm my own man. People might try to be like me, but I am me.
