Good morning my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Glad to be with you again this morning.

It is time for the morning mindset.

It's our opportunity to stop, focus, listen to what God has to say to us about himself and about this world

that we live in.

And part of what he says to us, if we take the time to listen, is what is true about us.

And that is part of what we're going to do today is we're looking at Colosians chapter

number two, and we're looking at

kalashans chapter number two and we're looking at verse number nine and right here at the

beginning part of this book Paul's writing a letter to these people in a church in

a place called kallasai and the Kallashans were people

that Paul loved very dearly and he's telling them here in verse nine how he

prays for them how he prays for them the things he prays for them now I've talked about

this in a previous morning mindset episode about how grateful I am for the

prayers that Paul records for us regarding the way he

prays for people because it's very instructive to me.

It helps me to think on a deeper level when it comes to praying for people in my life and people that I care for.

And so here in Colossians 2, beginning of verse 9, we get an example of that.

Paul says, and so from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled

with the knowledge of his will, that's God's will, in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the

Lord fully pleasing to him bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the

knowledge of God being strengthened with all power according
