Good morning brothers and sisters this is Carrie Green from Libill Change

and this is the morning mindset. This is your opportunity to take five minutes, actually less than five minutes now, to get your

mind right. I mean, what is it worth to you? To start a day right? To start a day with your mind in the right place, because we have

all kinds of things that push and pull on us from day to day that cause our mindset to be

distracted,

cause us to get thinking wrongly as the day goes on.

In this five minutes, I believe, could be pivotal for you.

It could be one of those things that helps you get started in the right direction

and build up momentum for a successful day in your faith in Jesus Christ.

And today to help you do that I want to look at the

book of Colossians. We're in chapter number two and I want to start with verse

number six. It says therefore as you received Christ Jesus the Lord

so walk in him rooted and built up in him and established in the faith just as you were taught abounding

in Thanksgiving.

Now there is so much here I'm not sure we're going to get through all of it in the time we have left but we're sure going to give it a shot

Just as you received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk in him

So let me ask you a question, how did you receive Christ Jesus as your

Lord? Was it through hard work? Was it through doing a lot of religious things?

Was it through giving enough money in the church?

Is that how you received Jesus Christ as Lord?

No, that's ridiculous.

There's nothing you can do that will prompt Jesus to come into your life.
