Hi everybody, it's Joe Lampel, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and thanks for listening

to the Joe Gardner Show today.

Well, today we're talking to someone who's been around here a time or two, three actually.

And that is Dr. Lee Rice.

Now, a lot of you know him from so many different areas, he's got books out there, he lectures

all over the place, he is a well-known horticulturalist, and he's become a friend of our television

show growing a greener world over the years.

And he's just kind of a Renaissance Gardner.

He's got so many skills that we all love to learn about.

Of course, perhaps his biggest claim to fame is his weedless gardening approach, which

is phenomenal.

He's a pruning expert, and he grows a lot of fruit trees and shrubs, and even some exotic

ones, which are really neat.

So today I wanted to have them back on a discussion primarily around blueberries, growing blueberries,

caring for blueberries, what are the tricks from an expert?

This is a guy who's been growing them for over 25 years, and has the most beautiful plants

I've ever seen.

They're highly productive.
