Spring, for birders at least, means that we are putting ourselves in positions to intersect with birds.

That is the nature of the

birder. But maybe we don't need to try so hard. The last couple weeks have been highlighted by

a couple bird human interactions in California that have gotten a little bit of media play

that certainly highlight that perhaps not everyone is as excited about birds in their lives

as we are. So it's time for a new segment that I'm calling Birds in the News. Birds in the News.

In avian invasion over a home in torrents. It's so so hard to explain and if you don't see it with

your own eyes you'd never believe carrie's family came home from dinner only to find starling

swarming after swooping down their chimney i put my hood on put my mask on and they were just

being in off my head blackbirds again. Again, swift. Just flying everywhere.

Now surrounded by hundreds of birds.
