West Coast story.

And I guess to some extent a crazy-ass liberal story, West Coast.

But one of the things that is happening along the coast here in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Oregon is the issue of homelessness.

Homelessness is so pervasive, is such a problem that we have homeless encampments all over on my way home.

There are under bridges, particularly overpasses, freeway overpasses there are tent cities uh that i

never existed and i've been living here my entire life so i've been here for a while never saw that

even gets to the point where uh you see these tents on both sides of uh the road and uh're, well, it looks like an REI showroom.

There's now these tents where it used to be just boxes and that sort of thing.

And if you see a tent, a particular tent with, for example, they have two room tents.

That's a two-bedroom.

And there's also sometimes there's porta- potty's there that the city provides.

So you've got two bedrooms with bath.

And it's pretty impressive.

A lot of people live there, and they're trying to come up with different programs.

I mean, it is a huge problem.

Matter of fact, our governor on his first platform, he campaigned on dealing with homelessness.

The mayor that was just elected of L.A., Karen Bass, her main position, she came in dealing with homelessness.

Her opponent, a Republican by the name of Rick Caruso, he came in the number one problem that he was going to deal with homelessness, county supervisors.

That's what we have going.

The homeless is, the problem is insane.

And the more money we throw at it, the worse it gets.
