| 0:00.0 | This is Handel on the Law, marginal legal advice, where I tell you you have absolutely no case. |
| 0:10.4 | Oh, is this a good one with the Israeli Hamas war? And here's a spin on it that you probably haven't heard. |
| 0:19.2 | And this happens to do or be with the International |
| 0:22.7 | Criminal Court. |
| 0:23.7 | Now what is the International Criminal Court? |
| 0:26.3 | It was established in 2002 as the permanent court of the last resort to prosecute individuals |
| 0:34.9 | responsible for the world's most heinous atrocities. War crimes, crimes against |
| 0:40.7 | humanity, genocide. And this comes out of the Nuremberg trials after World War II that the |
| 0:49.7 | allies held in which several Nazis were hanged, some of the top hierarchy, and a couple of them, |
| 0:59.4 | Himmler and Goring committed suicide in prison during the trial, and were no doubt going |

| 2:16.6 | And the ICC has been going after, well, democratic leaders in saying |
| 2:22.5 | that these are war crimes, the Vietnam War's war crimes. What's happening in Israel is a war crime. |
| 2:28.4 | It can be argued that it actually is. The bombing of civilian targets is a war crime, but Israel argues it's not going after |
| 2:37.7 | civilians, it's going after Hamas, and civilians happen to be in the way, which is different |
| 2:43.0 | than targeting civilians. So the argument Israel goes. So Netanyahu, who has been accused of a war crime, says, quote, Israel will never accept any attempt by the ICC to undermine its inherent right of self-defense. |
